While preplanning is a thoughtful gesture, it is also practical. It allows you to make unhurried informed decisions before you have to. Preplanning requires you to organize your important documents so your survivors will have the information they need to properly provide for you. It also ensures that benefits, such as insurance, are not overlooked. If you choose to invest in a prepayment plan, you not only protect against the higher costs tomorrow may bring, but also ensure funds will be available when needed most.
Advanced planning allows you to choose a reasonable budget for your funeral needs and allows you the option of setting aside funds over a period of time. Funds set aside against future cost are held in a state-approved trust account or top-rated insurance company until required. There is no charge for making prearrangements, and many families simply prefer to record this vital information for future use.
Walker Funeral Home is here to serve your family. You can trust Walker Funeral Home to fulfill all of your final wishes.
WE CAN TRANSFER YOUR ARRANGEMENTS TO WALKER - QUICKLY & EASILY!
The state of Ohio allows for your pre-funded funeral arrangements to be transferred at any time to the funeral home of your choosing. We encourage anyone that is considering this type of change to be proactive and not delay. Simply call us and schedule an appointment - there will be no cost to you. Usually in a few minutes and the signing of a few simple forms, the task is done. You will have peace of mind knowing you have made a wise decision. Often, in reviewing prearrangements, we find that important items have changed, or were omitted from the original pre-funded arrangements. This happens far too often, when funeral homes attempt to make their prices appear lower than they actually are, by purposely not including items that your family will have to pay for later at an increased cost. Examples: the opening and closing of the grave, flowers, the minister’s honorarium, death certificates, newspaper obituaries and even the tent at the cemetery. Feel free to call us anytime and we will give you honest answers.
